Lacy Chu dreams of working for the company behind the creations known as Baku's.  A Baku is a customisable metal pet, which has replaced mobile phones. Having just been rejected from Profectus Academy, the elite school for the best of the best, Lacy's world is turned upside down. Until she meets Jinx. Who is a cat Baku and Lacy's world is about to get a whole lot bigger.

This book came as part of my book box club (see the previous post about Book Box Club) and  I thought it sounded really interesting. I really enjoyed this book. I found it really gripping and it kept me hooked from start to finish.

The characters and the plot are so well written, you really feel like your part of that world. The pace of the book was fantastic, never letting you get bored. I found myself really invested in the characters an what was going to happen next.

I loved this book so much that I brought the audiobook too.
Cannot wait to see what else comes from this amazing author.
