Say goodbye is the sixth book in the Rainie and Quincy series by Lisa Gardner. This book follows Quincy's daughter Kimberly Quincy who is an FBI Special Agent, following in her father's footsteps.

It all starts with a pregnant hooker, with Kimberly being pregnant herself she can't help but symphysis. Hookers are going missing and although technically The Evidence Response Team that Kimberly works for are not responsible for investigating missing people, Kimberly can't help herself. After learning both her mother and her sister were murdered by the same man, a serial killer. The thought of another one terrorising her city gets to her.

Is she putting herself and her unborn baby in danger?

I thought the plot for this book sounded really good, I've enjoyed Kimberly as a character in the previous books and thought it would be interesting to see how she gets on, with an investigation of her own without Rainie or Quincy. But unfortunately, I found I just couldn't get into the book.

I found the plot boring and it just didn't grab my attention, it didn't captivate me and make me need to keep on reading more. It didn't hook me in and keep me hooked.

I found the pace of the book to be really slow and this lead to me finding myself getting bored very quickly and putting it down. For these reasons I did not finish the book, therefore, I have given this book a single star out of five.
