Edward Rooney is a struggling private investigator with little money coming in, he's in need of new clients preferably rich ones but be careful what you wish for. Rooney is hired to find a missing girl and soon uncovers a terrible secret.
This is one of Edwards short stories and my days do I wish it was a full novel. I love everything I have read by this author and this short story is no different. Beautifully written, suspenseful and completely attention-grabbing.
