On paper Chris Brennan seems perfect but its all a lie. He's landed himself a job as a teacher teaching government and criminology, he is also the assistant coach. Little do the school know his whole resume is fake and all a lie.
Susan has just lost her husband, shes proud of her son Raz, he's a high school pitcher with a promise of a full scholarship, after the death of his father he is vulnerable.
Heather is a single mother and she lives for her son Jordan's baseball games but worries he has fallen into the wrong crowd at school and that he is being lead down the wrong path.
Mindy is swept up in being a surgeons wife, she drinks to much and fills her days with lots of social events. She has no idea her son and husband are keeping secrets. Secrets that could destroy them all.
In the middle of all of this is Chris Brennan, what is he doing here and what does he want? how far will he go to get what he wants?
I got an advanced copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. I only read eight chapters of this book as i wasn't enjoying it. When i read the blurb i thought it sounded really good and it got me wanting to read it however, once i started reading it i found i just couldn't get into it and wasn't enjoying it. I just found that it wasn't getting me hooked and wasn't pulling me in the way i like books too.
I have given this book just one star as i didn't enjoy it and i didn't finish it.
